Brand Description

Treehouse was founded by Anastasia Vasilieva, a former management consultant and mom of two, after her eldest son developed severe eczema as a baby. Searching for clothing that wouldn't irritate his skin, she found that natural, well-made kidswear was hard to find in the US, and that children's textiles could still carry heavy chemical treatments. She spent years researching fabrics, visiting factories, and tracing the supply chain before launching Treehouse's first capsule collection in May 2023. The brand designs timeless, gender-neutral basics with direct input from its parent community, so pieces work for real family life and can be passed down from one child to the next.

Sustainability Report

Treehouse builds its collections around certified materials, avoiding conventional cotton entirely. Its main fabric is GOTS-certified organic cotton, which the brand says uses up to 91% less water and produces around 50% fewer CO2 emissions than conventional cotton. Linen pieces are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, meaning they have been tested for harmful substances. Garments are made by certified partners in Noida, Delhi, and Coimbatore, India, including Aadhava Apparel. Treehouse says workers there earn a living wage and receive health insurance, maternity leave, capped hours, and regular breaks. The brand produces in small batches and never restocks past collections, which limits textile waste. Orders ship without plastic or filler, in compostable garment bags and recyclable kraft mailers.
