What are the ingredients in Tru Earth?

Tru Earth eco strips are made from natural ingredients which include coconut-based surfactants. Tru earth sheets are free of added dyes, free of chlorine bleach, and completely devoid of any animal-based ingredients. They are vegan-friendly, chlorine bleach Free, and Paraben-free. Also, they are hypoallergenic and can be even used by people with sensitive skin.

I have listed out some of the major ingredients:

  • Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate (a coconut-based surfactant)
  • Sodium gluconate (a plant-derived and food-grade and biodegradable water softener)
  • Vegetable glycerin
  • Corn Starch
  • Lauryl Glucoside (plant-derived, biodegradable non-ionic surfactant)
  • Glyceryl Cocoate (Coconut oil-based surfactant and an emulsifying agent)
  • Cocamidopropyl Betaine - (a plant-derived surfactant)
  • Fragrance oil blend (except in the Fragrance-Free eco-strips)
  • Paraffinum Liquidum (a light mineral oil)

How can I use Tru Earth Laundry Strips?

Tru earth eco-strips laundry detergent is much easier to use than a traditional liquid detergent. Tru Earth strips are plastic-free, vegan-friendly, and safe for people having sensitive skin.

For best results, follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Step1: Take a Tru Earth eco strip and tear it into two halves.

For smaller loads, you can use half a strip, and for heavier loads, you can use one and a half or two strips.

Step2: Put the strip in your washing machine.

If you are using a top-loading machine, simply place the strip inside the drum of your washing machine.

In the case of front-loading machines, place the strips in the detergent compartment of your machine.

Step3: Add your clothes and start the washing cycle. Tru earth laundry detergent strips dissolve in both hot and cold water.

Tru Earth claims to give you "32 loads of laundry for just $15!" But do they clean your clothes? I decided to put them to the test. Each strip of Tru Earth laundry detergent weighs 3g and carries the same power as 40g of premium liquid or powder detergents.

Then, I followed the instructions and added a strip to my washing machine along with my dirty laundry. These unique strips work to remove dirt, stains, and odors from your clothes without the use of harsh chemicals.

They work great on all types of fabrics and can be used in both standard and high-efficiency washing machines. These laundry strips are also paraben-free, which means they are safe for people with sensitive skin.

Sodium gluconate, a biodegradable water softener contained in Tru Earth eco strips laundry detergent prevents soil from resettling on the cloth after washing.
